पायल कहती हैं कि कोरोना के दौरान एक दिन वह झुग्गी झोपड़ी में खाना बांटने गई। वहां जाकर उन्हें एक अलग ही तस्वीर नजर आई। वहां रह रहे लोगों के पास बुनियादी सुविधाएं भी नहीं थी। तभी से उन्होंने प्रतिदिन झुग्गी झोपड़ियों में जाकर खाना बांटना शुरू किया। यह खाना वह खुद अपने घर से बनाकर ले जाती है। इस दौरान एक दिन एक बच्चे को उन्होंने उसके जन्मदिन के लिए पूछा तो उसने बड़ी मासूमियत से जवाब दिया कि मैंने कभी केक नहीं खाया। बच्चे की इस बात ने उन्हें एक नई दिशा दी, उस दिन से उन्होंने बच्चों का जन्मदिन मनाने की ठान ली।
